Staying outside the Belek strip: can we still collect you?

Our included transfer covers three places, and we name them rather than blurring them: Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent. If your hotel sits somewhere else along this coast, the honest answer is that we will not promise a pickup on a page — that is a WhatsApp question, answered for your hotel and your date. And if you are down towards Lara, Kundu or the city itself, there is a better answer than waiting for ours: bookraftingantalya.com runs the same river days departing from those areas, and it is us under another name rather than a stranger we are handing you to.

The three places we can promise

The inclusion line on both of our tours reads round-trip hotel transfer from Belek, and it has to be read as the strip that phrase describes. Our hotel directory has always covered Belek together with Kadriye and Boğazkent: one continuous run of resorts, one vehicle, one route along it.

Inside those three, the transfer is a promise rather than a hope, and what makes it one is that it is written into the fare. Nothing is added for it when you book and nothing is asked for at the base. You are collected at the hotel and brought back to it, in an air-conditioned vehicle, on the day you chose.

That is the whole of the belt. It is short on purpose, because a pickup list is only worth anything if every name on it is a name a driver will really appear at.

Why "from Belek" gets read too widely

The phrase sounds like a region. It is a strip. A guest reads it, glances at a map, sees a resort that looks close enough and reasonably concludes that close enough counts — and that is precisely the misunderstanding this page exists to remove.

We have also never published a drive time or a distance for this transfer, because nobody has measured one for us. So there is no published figure to reason from either, which makes the guesswork worse rather than better. If you are inland rather than on the coast, the Serik side of the question has its own page and is a different conversation.

The risk is not theoretical. Booking on an assumption and discovering it at the hotel door is the worst version of a day out, and one message removes it entirely.

If you are along the coast towards the city

Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı and Antalya itself all sit outside the belt this tour collects from. We are not going to write a warm sentence that implies otherwise, and we are not going to leave you guessing either.

The useful part is that the same river day departs from your side of the coast already. bookraftingantalya.com sells it from those areas: the same operator, working a different departure list, and a departure that already exists rather than an exception nobody has agreed to. That is a better outcome than a maybe from us, and it is the reason this page exists rather than a one-line refusal buried in an FAQ.

If you are on the Side belt

Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot sit outside it as well, and there is a second reason there worth saying out loud. Those areas have their own rafting departures in our own catalogue, at their own prices, so a Belek pickup from that side would mean ignoring a departure that already exists where you are.

It would also mean getting yourself onto the Belek strip first, since that is the only place this transfer collects from, and doing it for no gain in what you get on the water. Again the answer is bookraftingantalya.com, and again it is the same operation rather than a rival.

What to ask us, and what an answer is worth

If your hotel is not one of the three names above, the question is still worth asking. What matters is what an answer means when it comes.

  • Send the hotel name as the hotel writes it, the area it is in, and your dates. Those three things are what an answer can be given against.
  • A yes on WhatsApp is a real yes, given for your hotel and your day by somebody who knows what is running that morning.
  • A page that has not promised your area has not promised it, however warmly it is written. That is the whole reason this site names three places instead of gesturing at a coastline.
  • If the answer is no, it will be a no with somewhere else to go attached, rather than silence and a shrug.

If you are inside the strip but not on our list

The hotels page names the properties we collect from, and it is a record rather than a boundary. If your hotel is in Belek, Kadriye or Boğazkent and you cannot find it there, ask instead of assuming in either direction — a list of names goes out of date faster than a strip of coast does.

The reverse matters as much. Do not read a familiar-sounding hotel name on that page as covering a similarly named resort somewhere else. Tell us the area with the name and there is nothing left to get wrong.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you pick up from Antalya or Lara for this rafting tour?
Not for this one. Those areas sit outside the belt this tour collects from, and we will not promise a run we have not agreed to. The better route is bookraftingantalya.com, which departs from that side of the coast and is the same operator working a different list, so you get the same river day without anybody having to invent a route for it.
We are staying in Side. Should we book a Belek rafting tour?
Probably not, and the reason is in your favour. That belt has its own rafting departures in our own catalogue, so booking from Belek would mean making your own way onto our strip when a departure already exists where you are, at no advantage. Ask us where that one leaves from and we will point you at it rather than sell you a journey nobody needs.
Our hotel is in Kadriye but it is not on your hotels page.
Then ask us, because the strip is the promise and the list is only the record of it. Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent are the three areas the transfer covers, and a hotel inside them that has not made the page yet is a gap in our writing rather than a gap in the route.
Could we make our own way to a meeting point in Belek?
That is not an arrangement we publish, so please do not build a morning around it. Ask us on WhatsApp with your hotel and your date: some things can be sorted out in a conversation that we will never print as a general promise, and this is one of them.
Is bookraftingantalya.com a different company?
No. It is the same operation working from a different departure list, and we point at it because it puts you closer to the water rather than because we want you off this page. If it turns out that our own strip suits you better after all, come back and book here.
