Can you drive yourself to Köprülü Canyon rafting? The short answer, on the record
This one is worth answering from a record rather than from a guess, so here is the record. Both of the tours this site sells were checked against our own booking system on 4 September 2026, across all seven of their options. Every one of them carries no meeting point at all, and every one of them is sold per person with the transfer inside the price.
That is a cleaner answer than the hedge you usually get. It is not that self-drive is discouraged, or that it needs approval, or that it might be possible on a quiet day. There is simply no arrangement of that shape to book, so there is nothing for us to say yes to.
It also means we are not going to describe one. No base address, no car park, no gate fee, no where-to-wait instructions — none of that is written down on our side, and inventing it would leave somebody standing beside a river in the Taurus mountains with a hire car and no boat.
Why the transfer is not a line item you can remove
Read the inclusion list on either tour and the round-trip hotel transfer sits alongside the guide, the full safety equipment, the riverside lunch and the accident insurance. It is not an extra bolted onto a river price. It is part of what the fare buys, in the same way the helmet is.
So there is no reduced self-drive rate, and there never was one. The river day is €23 per adult whether you are collected from the first hotel on the run or the last, and handing the seat back does not shave anything off it. That is not a policy we have chosen to be firm about — it is that no such price exists anywhere in our system to sell you.
What we can promise, and what is a message rather than a page
The collection belt is three places and we name them rather than blurring them: Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent. A hotel inside those three is a promise we can make in writing.
Anywhere else along this coast is a WhatsApp question, answered for your hotel and your date, and never a promise printed here for everybody. That distinction matters more than it looks: a page that quietly widens the belt is a page that eventually strands somebody in a lobby at dawn.
And if you are holidaying with a car precisely because you are staying somewhere out of the way, say so when you write to us. The answer might be a different departure closer to you rather than this one, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a long morning.
If you have a hire car anyway, here is the honest arithmetic
Suppose the arrangement existed. You would still be doing the road twice in a day you are also spending on a river. It is roughly 70 to 90 minutes of driving in each direction, on a route that leaves the coastal plain, climbs into pine forest and works through mountain switchbacks before the valley opens.
The included vehicle is air-conditioned, somebody else takes the bends, and you can sleep on the way home while still wet — which is what most people do. Against that, the hire car saves you nothing on the fare and costs you the drive. It is one of the rare cases where the packaged version is simply the better one.
Leave the car at the hotel and use it for the days when it earns its keep. Rafting is not one of them.
What to read instead of hunting for an address
If you came to this page looking for a map pin, the two pages that will actually settle your morning are elsewhere on this site, and neither of them is a map.
The pickup guide is the first. It sets out the three places we can promise a collection from — Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent — how the hotel name you give at booking is the thing that puts you on the run, and why no clock time is printed for any of them. If your hotel sits outside those three, that guide tells you to write to us rather than to guess, which is exactly the guess a hire car tempts you into making.
The second is the distance page, which treats the road as a road: about sixty kilometres of it, roughly seventy to ninety minutes of driving, climbing off the coastal plain into the Taurus. Read it if you simply want to know what lies between your hotel and the river, and read it especially if the route looks trivial on a map. It is a mountain road, and it is the part of the day people underestimate.

What the booking actually asks of you
Very little, and none of it involves a car.
- Give us your hotel name at booking. That is what puts you on the collection run.
- Nothing is charged when you reserve — no card is taken and no deposit is held.
- You pay in euros on the tour day itself.
- Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before the start — an unused date costs a message, not money.
- No pickup time is published for any hotel or area, because none is recorded. Ask us close to your date and you will be told what is planned for that morning.
