Rafting from Belek with children

Children from seven years old can join the rafting from Belek. On the river day a child aged 7 to 11 pays €15 against €23 for an adult; from twelve the adult price applies. Everyone wears the same helmet and life jacket, a professional guide steers each raft, and swimming ability is not required. We do not take children under seven on the river, and that is not something we will bend for a booking.

The age rule, plainly

The age that counts is the age on the day of the tour.

  • Seven and over: welcome on the rafting, and on every option that includes it.
  • Aged 7 to 11: the reduced child price, €15, on the rafting-only day. The combos are priced per person and carry no child fare.
  • Twelve and over: the adult price — €23 for the rafting, and €38 to €48 once you add a quad, a buggy or a zipline. The Tazı Canyon combo is booked on its own, from €38.
  • Under seven: not on this river. The booking form will not accept it.

What the day is like with children in the boat

Families are a normal sight on this run rather than an exception. The kit is the same for a child as for an adult — helmet, life jacket, paddle, wetsuit — and the guide in the boat decides where everyone sits, which usually means the smallest paddlers end up where the guide can reach them.

The swim stops are the part children remember. They happen at spots the guides choose, in the slow, deep water between the runs, and nobody is made to get in.

The honest cautions

It is a full day: around eight hours from the hotel and back, with a mountain drive at each end. A child who struggles with long transfers will struggle with this one.

The water is genuinely cold, which is why the wetsuit is supplied. Some children love that and some are done after twenty minutes of it.

And it is moving water with a guide, not a pool. If your child is very anxious about water, this is not the day to find out.

If you are bringing a group of children

Tell us the ages when you book, in the message box or on WhatsApp. It changes how the guides distribute a family across the boats, and it is the difference between a smooth start at the base and ten minutes of rearranging on the bank.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is the minimum age?
Seven. It is the age rule recorded for this tour, and the booking form enforces it.
How much do children pay?
€15 on the rafting-only day, for ages 7 to 11. From twelve the adult price applies. The combos carry no child fare at all — send us your children's ages on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is possible and what it costs.
Do children need to swim?
No. A life jacket is worn from the base to the finish and a professional guide steers the raft. Tell us at booking if your child cannot swim, so the guide knows before you set off.
Can a younger child come along and just watch?
No. There is no non-participating place on the river, and the day is built around the boats.
