River day or Tazı Canyon combo: which to book

Both tours run the same fourteen kilometres of the Köprü river, with the same kit, the same guide-per-raft arrangement, the same lunch and the same transfer from Belek. The rafting on its own is €23 per adult. The Tazı Canyon combo, from €38, adds an afternoon drive up to a rock balcony roughly 400 metres above the gorge. If what you want is the water, book the river day; if you want the day to keep going after you dry off, book the combo.

What is identical on both

  • The same stretch of the Köprü river, around fourteen kilometres.
  • Helmet, life jacket, paddle and wetsuit, supplied.
  • A professional rafting guide in your raft.
  • Round-trip hotel transfer from Belek and accident insurance for the activity.
  • Lunch beside the river, and around eight hours door to door.

What the combo adds

After the river and lunch, a driver-guide takes you up to the Tazı Canyon viewpoint. It is a natural terrace of rock at the top of the gorge, and the drop below it is around 400 metres. You reach it by vehicle, not on foot — this is a viewpoint, not a hike.

It is the photograph of the day, and it is a completely different experience from being down in the water looking up. That is really the whole decision.

How to choose

Neither is longer in hours — both are around eight. The combo simply spends more of them out of the vehicle.

  • Book the river day if you mainly want the rafting, if you are travelling with children who will have had enough by the afternoon, or if €23 against €38 matters to your week.
  • Book the combo if you want one big day out rather than two half ones, if you photograph things, or if someone in the party is more interested in the view than the water.

Can you decide on the day?

No, and it is fairer to say so. They are separate departures with different vehicles and a different afternoon, so the choice is made when you book. If you booked one and want the other, message us on WhatsApp before your date and we will change it if there is room.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is the rafting different on the combo?
No. Same river, same distance, same kit and the same guide arrangement. The difference is entirely what happens after lunch.
Is Tazı Canyon a walk?
No. You are driven up to the viewpoint and you look down from a rock terrace at the top of the gorge. The walking involved is from the vehicle to the edge.
Which is better for children?
Both take children from seven. The river day is the shorter commitment in terms of attention rather than hours; the combo asks for more sitting still in a vehicle in the afternoon.
Can I add Tazı Canyon at the base?
No — the combo is a different departure, not an upgrade sold on the day. Choose it when you book.
