What is actually on the table
Two tours, two slightly different lines in our own record, and we are going to quote them rather than blend them into one appetising paragraph.
- The rafting day in Köprülü Canyon: a riverside open-buffet lunch. Buffet, at a restaurant on the riverbank, included in the fare.
- The Tazı Canyon combo: a riverside lunch of grilled chicken, salads and seasonal fruit.
That is the whole menu we will publish
Everything above is what our operating record says about the food, word for word. There is a strong temptation on a page like this to fill in the rest — the bread, the mezze, the dessert, the view from the terrace — and we are not going to, because the day it stops being true nobody would notice except the guest holding a plate.
So take the two lines as the promise and treat anything extra you get as a good day rather than a broken one.
The meal is inside every rung of the ladder
This is the commercially useful part. Lunch is not a river-day-only perk: it sits inside the combos as well, so the €38 quad and buggy lines, the €43 zipline lines and the €48 four-part package all carry the same riverside meal along with the round-trip transfer and the equipment.
We will be transparent about where that comes from. The operator listed transfer, rafting, lunch and equipment for the main product and the same shape for a triple, and this site reads that across the whole ladder. It is an inference recorded as one, not a separate written line per combo — and if a combo ever ran without the lunch, this is the sentence we would correct rather than quietly delete.
Drinks are the one thing that surprises people
Drinks at lunch and through the rest of the day are not included, on either tour. That is not a hidden fee — it is on our own excluded list and it is on this page for the same reason: it is the single most common on-the-day surprise on this river.
The other excluded items are worth reading in the same breath. The photo and video service the base team offers of your run is not included in the fare. Neither is anything else you buy at the canyon on the day, nor gratuities for your guide and driver, nor your own personal spending.
How much cash to bring, and in what
Enough for a few drinks, in euros, in a pocket that does not go in the boat. We do not set the prices at the riverside restaurant and we do not publish them, because they are not ours to quote and a number invented here would be repeated by guests for years.
We also have no record of what the restaurant accepts, so plan on cash rather than a card. Everything you brought is going to be waiting on dry land while you are on the water anyway — that is the same advice the packing page gives about phones and wallets, alongside a towel and a full change of dry clothes for afterwards. Nothing is taken when you book either: you pay in euros on the day, with the meal already inside the fare.
Diets, allergies and what we will not promise
Nothing in our record says whether there is a vegetarian option, a halal option or a way to handle a serious allergy. So this page does not say there is one, and it does not say there is not one either. Both would be inventions and one of them could hurt somebody.
What to do instead: message us on WhatsApp before you book, tell us what the restriction is, and we will ask and come back with a real answer. That is a slower process than reading a reassuring sentence on a web page, and it is the only one that is worth anything at a riverside buffet.
When you eat
Our record fixes the place and not the hour. Lunch is riverside; no clock time is published for anything on this tour, and we are not going to print one for the meal either — no pickup time, no lunch time, no finishing time.
What we can say is the shape of the day: roughly eight hours door to door for the rafting day, with the transfer at each end, the river in between and the meal on the bank. If your hotel board matters to your planning, that is the arithmetic to send us on WhatsApp rather than guess at.
