What the eight hours contain
- Pickup from your hotel and the drive inland into Köprülü Canyon National Park.
- Kit and safety briefing at the riverside base.
- The river itself: about fourteen kilometres, with a professional guide steering your raft.
- Swim and splash stops along the way, and the pass beneath the Roman-era Oluk Bridge.
- Changing into dry clothes and an open-buffet lunch beside the water.
- The drive back down to your hotel.
What we do not time for you
How long you are actually on the water. That varies with the group, the water and the day, and no figure for it is recorded on our side — so we would rather say eight hours door to door, which is the number we can stand behind, than split it into stages we cannot.
And the pickup time. It depends where your hotel falls in the collection run, and it is confirmed after you book rather than printed here.
Planning the rest of your day around it
Treat the whole day as gone. A rafting morning that turns into an afternoon is the normal case, not the exception, and a dinner reservation you cannot move is the thing that spoils it.
If you have something fixed that evening — a flight, a booked table, a hotel show — tell us when you book and we will tell you honestly whether the day fits around it.
If a shorter day is what you need
There is no half-day version of this. The river is inland and the drive is part of the arithmetic, so a shorter rafting day is not something we can build.
If you only have a few hours, this is not the excursion — and we would rather say so now than have you watching the clock in a canyon.
