Rafting from an all inclusive hotel in Belek: what a full day out really costs
The Belek strip runs on all inclusive, and that quietly changes the arithmetic of every day out. You have paid for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the bar in one figure before you arrived, so an excursion is never only its fare — it is also a meal and an afternoon you have already bought once. It is worth putting the honest cost on the table before anything else, because it is smaller than people fear: one hotel lunch, one afternoon on a sunbed, and whatever the entertainment team had planned for it.
Everything else survives untouched. Breakfast happens before you leave, dinner happens after you are back, and the meal that falls in the middle is carried by the tour price rather than lost. Nobody at the hotel needs permission for any of it. Reception is still worth talking to the night before, for a reason that has nothing to do with money and comes further down this page.
Lunch is the part that is already solved
An open buffet beside the water is included on every option this site sells, from the plain river day through to the four-part package. It comes after the run rather than before it, once you are out of the wetsuit and into dry clothes, and it is a proper sit-down meal at a riverside restaurant rather than something handed out of the back of a van.
So the day does not cost you a meal in any real sense — it moves it several mountains inland. What that means practically is only this: if your hotel counts heads for lunch service or runs a restaurant that wants telling in advance, that is the one thing worth mentioning at reception the night before, and it takes ten seconds.
Drinks are the line that stays yours, at the hotel and at the river
Drinks are not in the tour price. They sit on the excluded list for both of our tours, at lunch and through the rest of the day, and they are the single thing that catches guests who have spent a week not reaching for a wallet. The wristband stops working at the hotel gate.
Carry a modest amount of cash in euros and the question disappears. What you spend it on is entirely your business: a cold drink with lunch, a coffee at the base while the group changes, anything sold at the canyon on the day. None of it is expensive and none of it is compulsory — but turning up with nothing at all is the version of this day people quietly regret at the table.
Everything you would ordinarily flash the band for is either supplied or simply not there. The helmet, the life jacket, the paddle and the wetsuit are ours and are carried by the fare, along with the transfer both ways and insurance for the activity. There is no free bar on a riverbank in a national park because your resort happens to have four of them.
Breakfast, and being ready earlier than feels necessary
No pickup time appears anywhere on this site, and that is deliberate rather than evasive. The collection run takes in a string of hotels across Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent, and where your hotel falls in that run decides your hour — so a time printed on a web page would be right for one address and wrong for every other. Yours is confirmed after you book.
What follows from that is the whole practical point of this page. Tell reception the night before that you are leaving early on an excursion and ask what is possible about breakfast. Some hotels will arrange something and some will not; that is their answer to give and we will not promise it on their behalf. Then be at the main entrance dressed and ready, bag packed, rather than finishing a coffee when the vehicle pulls in.
The driver has other hotels to reach after yours, which is the entire reason we ask. Standing at the entrance instead of at the pool is genuinely the only thing the morning demands of you.
Dinner, the evening show and the day after
Plan the evening loosely. The day runs around eight hours from your door and back to it, and while late afternoon is the usual shape, the exact hour follows the drop-off order rather than a timetable anyone can print in advance.
In practice that means no à la carte slot you cannot move, no table booked off the resort, and no show you would be genuinely upset to miss. If something that evening really is fixed — a flight, a restaurant with a deposit, a family dinner someone has organised — tell us when you book and we will say honestly whether the day fits around it. That answer is free and it is better than a guess.
The day after asks nothing of you at all. You will have spent a long day in cold water, in a raft and in a vehicle, and a slow morning by the pool is a fair reward — which is also the point at which an all inclusive board starts earning its keep again.
Half board, room only, and what none of it changes
The tour costs the same whatever arrangement you have with your hotel. The river day is €23 per adult and €15 per child aged 7 to 11, and adding a quad or a buggy safari at the canyon makes it €38 per person. The Tazı Canyon combo is a separate booking of its own and starts at €38.
Nothing is taken from you when you reserve. There is no card form anywhere on this site, nothing is charged in advance, and you pay in euros on the day to the team running the tour. Free cancellation stands up to 24 hours before departure, which is the clause that actually matters on a holiday where the weather, the children and the rest of the party all get a vote.
The night before, in five lines
- Tell reception you are leaving early on an excursion, and ask what they can do about breakfast.
- Put your swimsuit, a towel and a full change of dry clothes together, and lay out shoes that fasten to your feet and can get soaked.
- Take a little cash in euros: the wristband does not travel with you up the mountain.
- Leave your phone, your watch and anything else you would hate to lose in the room safe.
- Do not book a fixed dinner slot, and warn anyone waiting for you that this is a whole day out.
