Why a middle day is the best day of your holiday to go rafting in Belek
This is a placement question, not a difficulty question. The day itself is the same whenever you take it: the same river, the same equipment, the same guide in the boat, the same lunch on the bank. What changes is what else is happening in your week when you take it, and that is the part nobody plans until the rep is standing in the lobby with a clipboard.
The arithmetic is simple. An eight-hour excursion is not an activity you slot between breakfast and the beach; it is the day. Put it against a day that already has an aeroplane in it and something has to give, and it will not be the aeroplane. Put it against a Tuesday in the middle of the week and it costs you nothing but a Tuesday.
Arrival day: technically possible, rarely sensible
People do ask, usually because the holiday feels short and the excitement is high. The problem is not that we cannot take you. The problem is that arrival day is the one day of the week you do not control: flights slip, transfers wait for other passengers, rooms are not always ready, and cases sit in a corridor while somebody hunts for a swimsuit.
Layer an eight-hour mountain excursion over that and you have built a day with no slack in it at all. And because your pickup hour is confirmed after booking rather than printed in advance, you would be committing to a departure before you know what time your own holiday actually starts.

Departure day: keep it clear
This one is not a preference, it is arithmetic. A day that runs around eight hours door to door, ending at an hour that follows the drop-off order rather than a timetable, is not a day to hang a flight on. Add the wet clothes, the packing you did not finish and the checkout time you have already passed, and it stops being a holiday and becomes a logistics problem in a wetsuit.
The same goes for the evening before an early flight. You will come back from the river tired and later than you expected, and the version of that evening where you are also weighing suitcases is nobody's idea of a good last night.
Leave the last day for the pool, the shops and the airport. The river will still be there next holiday, which is more than can be said for the flight.
Every day in between is equally available
The tour is recorded as running all year and every day of the week, so there is no weekday that we would steer you towards or away from. There is no cheaper Tuesday and no premium Saturday: the fare is the fare on whichever day you pick.

If the week already has other excursions in it
Space the big days out. This one takes the whole daylight of a day and leaves you cheerfully tired, cold-water tired, and that is not the state in which to get up early for a second full-day trip the next morning.
The pattern that works is a river day, then a slow day, then whatever else the week holds. If the week is tight, the honest way to compress it is to book a combo — the quad or buggy safari happens at the canyon on the same trip, which is one day out rather than two.
And if two full-day excursions really are going in the same week, put the rafting first. It is the one where you want to be fresh, and the one nobody wants to spend half-asleep in cold water.
